Rcl Freedom Of The Seas – MS Freedom of the Seas is a cruise ship operated by Royal Caribbean International. She is the name of Royal Caribbean’s Freedom Class and can accommodate 3,634 passengers and 1,300 crew members.

I will be aboard Freedom of the Seas on July 2, 2021, and this will be a great opportunity to compare and contrast the experience of sailing from the United States, which has different rules than Adventure of the Seas, with sailing from the Bahamas .

Ever since Royal Caribbean’s closing cruise in March 2020, I knew I wanted to get back on board as soon as possible.

At the time of booking, I was torn between whether to keep my Independence reservation or book the July 3rd Odyssey of the Seas sailing opening. As it turned out, Odyssey pushed back its July 31 release, and the mystery resolved itself.

Luckily for me, this is the first ship to sail out of Florida, which means I can easily drive to the port instead of flying.
Another good reason I booked the Freedom of the Seas is that I didn’t get a chance to see all the changes and upgrades she got as part of her royal boost. Freedom was the last cruise ship to be expanded, which means there are new attractions and activities on board to check out.
To be on Freedom of the Seas is truly to be on the first Royal Caribbean International ship to depart from the United States in 15 months.
While Celebrity Edge was the first cruise ship to depart from the United States after the shutdown, Freedom will be the first for a Royal Caribbean International-branded ship, and the protocols are different from what Celebrity announced.

The question everyone wants to know is what would it be like to go on a cruise ship in a world still dealing with Covid-19? And how do these health protocols compare to the Adventure of the Seas?
On Independence, some seats will only be available to fully vaccinated guests, and masks will be required on board in certain circumstances. These protocols did not exist on Adventure of the Seas.
My goal is to get an idea of what the experience is like, and also to see all the changes Royal Caribbean has made to the ship as part of its ramp-up.
On this sailing, I will be traveling primarily solo as our aging cat needs a break after two weeks in the kennel.

We will visit two ports on this short 3 night cruise, Nassau, Bahamas; And a perfect day at CocoCay.
I may pop down to Nassau briefly, but the focus here is to revisit the perfect day at Kokokoe.
I haven’t booked anything on CocoCay yet (ie cabanas, waterpark entry, etc.) because I’m traveling solo and with limited capacity on Freedom of the Seas, anything on the island. There will be plenty of room to do so. Feel.
I don’t need an excuse to watch Perfect Day at Kokoki. Even after spending 4 days there earlier this month, I would have loved to spend another full day relaxing by the Oasis Lagoon pool because the whole island is so impressive.
