It’s the jolliest time of the year, which means it’s time for everyone’s favorite elf from the North Pole to sit on the shelves for the holidays! The Elf on the Shelf tradition is one that my girls have loved for over 12 years and our Elf Cradle is still at the core of our Christmas memories.

I think my girls look forward to their elf on the shelf more than they do on Christmas Eve! I was inspired to make this Elf on the Shelf coloring page.
While their elf was quite lazy, she had fun with him. I hope this year she brings some of these coloring sheets with her along with other fun Elf on the Shelf games and activities she does.
As soon as Thanksgiving is over, we are a Christmas family! Actually, sometimes it’s a few weeks before Thanksgiving, when we start putting up some Christmas decorations. But our fairies always come on Thanksgiving night, so that’s when we really get into the party spirit!
