It’s the perfect game for any Christmas party or celebration. We played it on Christmas Eve at our family’s annual Christmas party. The kids loved it and some adults wanted to join in too!

I actually had an idea for this game just a few hours before the party started. I decided we wanted a fun activity. To keep the kids busy when this thought flashed into my mind. This game is almost free because I already have all the materials to make it. All you need is a large piece of paper, a pen, tape, and a blindfold (we used tissue).

First I took a large sheet of brown paper and drew a simple reindeer without a nose. Next I cut out the circle and colored it red. If I plan ahead I will buy red construction paper. Coloring takes the most time.

You know I’m always looking for ways to avoid going to the store to buy materials for my projects. And this time was no different. We have a limited budget. So I know I have to do whatever I have to do. I need to buy a billboard I got red because that’s the only color they have other than neon. I originally intended to buy white. But I am satisfied with how red looks. I also bought brown foam pads and big eyes. The grand total for this project went up to $2.18, all the other supplies came from my craft closet!

Charity helped me by printing the templates for me as our printer has officially died. I cut out Rudolph’s face and small antlers. Then I traced them on the brown foam. Once I traced the face, ears and antlers I then cut it out and hot glued it to my red poster board. Then I fixed my foolish eyes. I circled my nose with my eyes and blacked out with the sharpener. After Rudolph finished I then pulled out the letter foam sticker. I had enough to make a title that says Pin the Nose on Rudolph on top. I peeled off the stickers and applied hot glue on each letter to make sure the letters stayed. when done All I had to do was cut off the nose ring! I used a 1-inch circle punch to cut out each numbered circle. I manually placed each circle on a piece of enamel and cut them to the edges. But not too tight to stick together. That’s all there is!

There are many variations on this. If you especially like art You can hand Rudolph and paint him with paints or markers. You can do the same with letters or use stencils. I’m always looking for the easiest way. And because my artistic skills are not yet in demand. Using a stencil is always my best choice!
