These DIY gifts are super easy to make, especially when you use my free printable chocolate bar wrapper template. And with a cost of less than $1.50, you can’t beat this as a freebie.
First, print the candy bar wrapper template. I used regular printer paper, but cardstock will work too. After the print was finished, I quickly cut out each model on the dotted line.
After cutting out all the templates, I then attached them to the candy bars with clear tape. For a neater look, I also taped the top and bottom of the candy wrapper. I also sewed about 1″ to the edge on each side, it doesn’t form on the back. Then I cut the cuff off a glove and slipped it over the top of the candy bar. Then I attached the second glove to the back by tying a knot in the ribbon under the fingers. I used about 10 inches of ribbon for each snowman candy bar.

Free Hershey Bar Wrapper Template Christmasrintable
Really, you can whip up this snowman treat in no time. Perfect baby treats for friends, treats for the classroom, or stocking stuffers – a great Christmas craft for kids too!
Tip: Tiki glue doesn’t stick fabric, that’s why I used hot glue. However, this will stick the fleece to the tear. It won’t hold the yarn together but will work well for this project.
First, print your snowman wrapper on printer paper. Cut each and set aside.
You don’t need a lot of flour. If you want to create different colors or prints, buy 1/4 meter of different server prints.
Bee Chocolate Bar Wrapper Template Printable Candy Bar
Cut the batting pieces approximately 6 1/4″ x 4″ – it doesn’t have to be perfect. Next, cut two and a half inch strips from the long side of the fleece. One strap is for a scarf and one strap is for attaching a hat.
Cut the rectangular side of the fleece to create a fringe on the hat. Leave about 1/2 inch of space so the core isn’t too thin.
Then attach the candy bars to the printable – use glue or hot glue to attach them. Hot glue the side of the fleece for the hat and attach it to the top of the candy bar.
Take one of the strips of fleece and tie it in the middle of the fringe of the fleece hat. Take the last strip of wool and wrap it around the candy bar to make a scarf – throw it to the side.

You might be wondering how to make your own candy bar wrappers? You can print these chocolate bar wrappers at home, wrap them on a chocolate bar and give them as gifts. You can print them on glossy paper or you can print them on plain paper. If you have a laser printer, you can use this transparent paper. If you have an inkjet printer, you can use this transparent paper. I used glossy paper and plain paper and I think they both look good.
Easy Christmas Treat
There are three different sizes below. The first is a large wrapper that fits a 7oz Hershey milk chocolate bar or another chocolate bar of similar size and shape (like Symphony). A regular size wrapper is available that fits over a standard 1.55 oz Hershey Milk chocolate bar or another candy bar of similar size and shape, such as Hershey’s Special Dark, Hershey’s Cookies-n-Creme or Nestle Crunch . Then there’s a sheet of mini candy wrappers that fit over Hershey’s miniatures, including Hershey’s Milk Chocolate, Hershey’s Special Dark, Mr. Goodbar, and Crackle.
Once you’ve printed the chocolate bar wrappers, you cut them out. You can use scissors if that’s all you have, but using a paper knife or paper cutter will give you a nice straight cut. I use a heavy duty letter opener, but have it for all sorts of projects. You can use a regular paper cutter like this if you’re just printing and cutting a few candy wrappers. Then you wrap them around an appropriately sized candy bar and secure them with a glue stick. You simply glue one end of the wrapper to the other end of the wrapper. I use scotch glue sticks, but any non-toxic brand will work.
A little tip, if desired, glue the bottom of the 7oz and 1.55oz candy wrappers to the bottom of the candy bar end flap on the front of the wrapper so they don’t stick not at the ends. You want to wrap these chocolate bar wrappers over the original chocolate bar wrapper without removing the original wrapper.
My favorite idea for a special, inexpensive Christmas gift for co-workers (or anyone) is to print a 7oz wrapper, wrap it around a 7oz Hershey bar, then print the same wine bottle labels here. Then you can attach the wine bottle label to your favorite wine bottle. For a special touch, you can also print Christmas gift tags here. You can then attach a gift tag to the wine bottle. The combination of chocolate and wine makes the perfect thoughtful little gift to give someone. You can see an image of this idea below.
Magic Hershey Candy Bar Wrappers Template

Once you print this candy wrapper and wrap it around a chocolate bar, a Merry Christmas with poinsettia will be on the front of the candy bar and “Happy New Year!” The candy bar will be on the back (and if you think the back is up, you’re not flipping the candy bar properly. These wrappers are oriented the same way Hershey’s orient their wrappers. You’re pushing the bar away from you throwing . instead of moving from side to side.)

For these small packages, cut them in the middle of the gray area. There is a cut mark on the edge of the paper where the cut should be made. It’s best to cut it with a paper trimmer or paper cutter, but if you don’t have one, the gray area will be a bit more forgiving if you cut it straight. Each sheet contains 15 printable mini candy wrappers. So print as many as you need.
