, see the picture. Since the size of the pattern was limited by the size of A4 paper that a simple cutter or printer could handle, I had to figure out how to fit the shape through the smaller pieces. I have completed the purpose below.
Print/cut 4 pieces, two in each color. Before you start weaving, you need to connect the 12 pieces to the small circle that makes the pattern in the picture. Knitting in a circle is similar to knitting a cone. Place the two pieces so that the circles line up and the pieces go in opposite directions. Make sure the color you want on the outside shows a full circle and not pieces and glue. You need to keep the weave tight and tight. Otherwise, the cells would not be long enough to form the same shape across the equator of the circle. There should be at least 10 prints in the format at any given time. After you finish weaving the glue, attach the two identical arms to the post and finish covering the post with one of the smaller paper circles. Hard to weave. Don’t worry if you need to cover the top of the circle with a smaller circle of other colors. Please update to the latest version.

Templates are designed to fit most paper sizes. I use a lot of letter size and mostly A4. You can easily resize the template based on your print/paper.
No, you can use a regular home printer. Also, you need black ink because the color of the paper will determine your final color image.
We mainly use 67 lb paper (called cardstock) sometimes for larger models we use 100 lb but that is a bit harder to work with. No need for complicated or expensive paper. It can be plain colored paper. Your photography is more powerful.
This purchase is for personal use. You can create artwork/models and sell them saying they are made from our templates. You cannot resell the template.

I’m as fascinated with Cricut Design Software as you all are! I read online that it uses the color of the outer trim line, which is black in my case, and fills that area with this color. There are other lines and you will see them when you go to the next step of the program, which is the ‘dead’ part. The number lines are blue and red. The cut line is black. Hope this helps.
